 TOMAHAWK PROFESSIONAL RIGID LIVE TRAPS Tomahawk Professional Live Traps are the strongest and most dependable traps on the market, guaranteed! They feature the strongest frame of any trap you can buy. The frames feature tighter mesh and heavier gauge wire mesh, and many more reinforcing rods than any other traps on the market. Models 102SS, and 602SS are manufactured with frames constructed of ½” x ½” wire mesh openings, and are galvanized after welds for maximum protection against rust. Models 103SS, 603SS, 106SS, 606SS, 108SS, and 608SS, are all constructed of ½” by 1” wire mesh openings with numerous reinforcing rods. The tighter mesh openings prevent animals from reaching through the outside of the trap to steal the bait. The small mesh also prevents animals from reaching outside of the trap to damage its surroundings after it is trapped inside the trap. An open fabric construction allows the animals to see through the trap in all directions and enter the trap with confidence. Galvanized steel rods are welded to the wire mesh frame for extra support and reinforcement. A spring loaded, automatic locking v-door, securely and safely traps the animal inside the trap immediately after the animal steps onto the trip pan, located at the back of the trap. A super fast spring loaded door eliminates the chance of the animal backing out of the trap before the door springs shut and locks into place. The special locking system and the heavy reinforcement of the trap doors prohibit animals from forcing the door open, even if the animals manage to turn the trap upside down. This makes Tomahawk Professional Traps perform well when trapping animals at any angle. Tomahawk Professional Live Traps are also equipped with an adjustable trigger release mechanism that allows for heavy or light sets. The 9” x 9” size and the 10” x 12” size traps include a protective piece of galvanized sheet metal under the safety handle of the trap, to protect the trapper against scratches from the trapped animal. These traps are also manufactured with an optional rear sliding door for the easy baiting of the trap, and removal of animal. Model 606SS and 608SS also contain a protective hand guard by the rear sliding door latch, to prevent the trapped animal from scratching the handler, during the release. |
